This Refund Policy governs all payments made to IJGAAI, including Article Processing Charges (APC), submission fees, and publication-related services. By making a payment, authors agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Nature of Services

IJGAAI provides academic publishing services, including:

  • Manuscript processing
  • Peer review coordination
  • Editorial handling
  • DOI assignment and publication

These services involve time, expertise, and administrative resources, making them partially or fully non-refundable once initiated.

3. No Refund Conditions

Refunds will NOT be provided under the following circumstances:

3.1 After Peer Review Initiation

  • Once the manuscript enters peer review, no refund will be issued.

3.2 After Acceptance

  • No refund after the manuscript is accepted for publication.

3.3 Author Withdrawal

  • If the author withdraws the manuscript after submission or review initiation.

3.4 Plagiarism / Ethical Issues

  • If the manuscript is rejected due to:
    • Plagiarism
    • Data fabrication
    • Ethical misconduct

3.5 Incorrect Submission

  • Submission to the wrong journal or scope mismatch.

4. Partial Refund Conditions

A partial refund (up to 30–50%) may be considered only if:

  • The author requests withdrawal before peer review begins
  • The manuscript is rejected before review assignment

Processing/admin charges will be deducted.

5. Full Refund Conditions

A 100% refund will be granted only in the following cases:

  • Duplicate payment by the author
  • Technical/payment gateway error
  • Failure of journal to process submission due to internal issues

6. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, authors must:

  • Submit a request via email within 7 days of payment
  • Provide:
    • Payment receipt
    • Manuscript ID
    • Reason for refund

7. Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–15 working days
  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method

8. Chargeback Policy

  • Authors must contact the journal before initiating a chargeback
  • Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:
    • Blacklisting from future submissions
    • Notification to institutions

9. Transparency Clause

  • All APC and charges are clearly displayed on the website
  • No hidden charges will be applied

IJGAAI reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be published on the official website.
